Day 01 . Wed 06 December 2017 : Hanoi arrival - street food tour (-) |  Guide and driver 

Arrival in Noi Bai airport  (KUL- HAN  6 Dec 2017   AK 516.  0605 ETD   0815 ETA), you will be picked up then transferred to the hotel in city center. The check-in is available at 2 pm. 

In the afternoon, discover the Old Quarter, also known as the “36 Streets & Corporations”. It is a veritable labyrinth of lanes where each of them is specialized in a trade or art. The best way to explore and discover this district full of life is by foot. Designed to capture all aspects of local life, the course will cover all the elements of the daily life of the inhabitants in an original way: crafts, Buddhism, temple, gastronomy, local market, visit of traditional house-tube (Vietnamese particularity), medicine…Discover the capital through food, as a local, a real experience and a highlight of the journey.

The tour ends with a stroll around the HoanKiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword) before  leaving to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 02 . Thu 07 December 2017 : Hanoi city tour- night train to Lao Cai (B) |  Guide and driver 

A full day spent touring Hanoi, the political, economic and cultural capital of Vietnam. Starting with the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), which offers informative and well-documented information on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, including elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes. The display continues in the outside garden with fascinating examples of traditional houses from the Kinh’s to the ethnic groups of the Central Highlands. You will then visit the Temple of Literature, a temple built in honor of Confucius in 1070, and served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam founded in 1076. This temple and its beautiful garden provide an opportunity to learn more about the Mandarin education that has shaped Vietnam for 1000 years and to relax in this tranquil setting. The afternoon is spent exploring the alleys of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple or the Jade Mountain Temple situated in the heart of Hanoi. Transfer to Cosiana hotel for relaxing. until the departure of the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

Day 03 . Fri 08 December 2017 : Lao Cai - Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B) |  Guide and driver 

We will arrive in Lao Cai around 6:00am and continue to Sapa, situated 40km from Lao Cai, by private car. The day is devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sa Pa valley. Start by road that descends in the wake of the street Cau May (6 km) En route, admire the rice terraces hidden behind mist of the morning, a truly awe-inspiring sight.

Follow a small track and cross Muong Hoa River and pass well tended rice terraces on your way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continuing through the colorful rice terraces you will reach the village of Ta Van Giay. As you continue your trek along the Muong Hoa River you will cross a small suspension bridge, roughly 2km from the settlement. Here you can discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. These engravings depict some beautiful images of man, stilt houses and some beautiful decorative patterns. We lunch in a home in the village.  Back to Sapa for overnight

Day 04 . Sat 09 December 2017 : Sapa- Can Cau- night train to Ha noi (B) |  Guide and driver 

After breakafst , check out hotel. Guide and driver will come tp pick up and  transfer to Bac Ha to visit Can Cau market. This is the biggest local ethnic market of the region and takes place every Saturday. Tribal people from surrounding villages flock here to exchange their products. Most still use horses to carry their loads, which means an early departure to get to the market in time.

If you visit Sapa during a spring weekend, you will frequently meet locals in their colorful costumes heading to the markets as this is the best time for youngsters to find a partner to marry. Spring in Sapa, especially around Tet Holiday (late January to early February), is therefore a very joyful time despite the cool temperatures. This is the season of courting, dating and weddings. Nature also contributes to the atmosphere vibrant red and white flowers blooming everywhere. It all makes for a rather unique setting.

After lunch, you will leave the colorful market behind, to follow a zigzag road along the mountain to visit Ban Pho 1 and Ban Pho 2 villages, inhabited by Flower H'mong people. Return to Lao Cai in the late afternoon for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train. 

Day 05 . Sun 10 December 2017 : Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay (B, L, D) |  Guide and driver 

Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning, pick up to hotel 2 star for relaxing some hour and have breakfast at there before driver come to pick you up to Halong bay at 8:00 Am. 

12:00 – 12:30:Embark the LaFairy Sails at Tuan Chau International harbor. Enjoy welcome drink, cruise briefing & start cruising.

13:00 – 14:30:A sumptuous lunch is served while cruising into the magnificent Halong Bay with its thousands of extraordinarily shaped limestone islands, considered as the heaven on the Earth.

15:15 – 15:45:Explore Lờm Bò area and be charmed by this outstanding masterpiece of Mother Nature. Visit Mê Cung Cave – one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay and climb up to see the panoramic view of the bay from above.

16:00 – 16:45:   Explore Ngoc Trai area by kayaking. 

17:00 – 19:00: Return to the LaFairy Sails for a Sunset party to admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set. Enjoy everyday promotion HAPPY HOUR - BUY 2 GET 1 FREE all beverages from 5 to 6pm.

19:00:Savor a sparkling and dreamlike dinner on top deck under the light of a thousand stars in middle of the tranquil Bay with extremely delicious food and be awed by a fascinating fruit and vegetable carving show. Delight in traditional music performances. Afterwards, socialize with the artist, new friends and crew members, join squid fishing. Overnight on-board.

Day 06 . Mon 11 December 2017 : Halong – Hanoi (B) |  Guide and driver 

06:30 – 07:00:Start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt.

07:15 – 08:00:Enjoy breakfast in the fresh air and peaceful beauty of the Bay.

08:15 – 09:15:Visit Titov Island for swimming in the emerald water. Then hike up to the top of the island to take the breathtaking panoramic view of the Bay.09:45 – 10:15:Pack your luggage and check out of the cabin while cruising towards the harbor

10:15 – 11:45:Join a cooking demonstration before enjoying an exceptional Buffet lunch.

12:00 – 12:30:Disembark the LaFairy Sails & Farewell.16:45 – 17:00:Arrive in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 07 . Tue 12 December 2017 : Hanoi departure (B) |  Driver 

Freetime before the transfer to the airport for your flight off. Driver will come to pick you up at 11:45 Am to transfer you to the airport. Thanks for your travelling with us.
