3. Vietnam named among world’s top 20 fastest growing travel destinations

 

According to United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)‘s announcement, Vietnam ranked sevenths on the list of 20 fastest growing travel countries. The list was based on assessment of visitor’s arrival. 

 

 

Among Asian countries, Vietnam ranks third, behind Nepal and South Korea. 

Sierra Leone, a country of Africa nation, is on the top of the list thanks to declaration of  Ebola – free, which attract more tourists to the country.

UNWTO also published a list of countries which have a sharp declines in last year’s traveler arrival including Egypt, Afghanistan, Turkey, Haiti, Laos.

Vietnam has been named on the list of world top travel destination before like : the most economic country to visit, top ideal country for backpacking traveler, or top eco-travel friendly tourist destination.

 

4. Gong performances to serve people and tourists in Dak Lak province

 

The central Highland Dak Lak has launched a program Gong performances to serve people and tourists in 2017.

 

 

The aims of program is to preserve and promote gong cultural heritages and gradually can grow as a travel destination of Vietnam. The performance is held twice a month from July to December, 2017. The performance shows gong cultures value, musical instruments of ethnic minorities.
