Airlines launch strategic interline partnership

 

1. Qatar Airways announces an interline partnership with Vietjet Air

Qatar Airways announces an interline partnership with Vietjet Air, which will allow Qatar Airways passengers to travel to and from the points in Vietnam which are not served directly by Qatar Airways using a single reservation in both airlines.

 

 
The new partnership will allow passengers traveling to and from Vietnam's eight new domestic flight points to connect through Qatar Airways' existing gateways to Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) and Hanoi (HAN) - providing them with a more easy and convenient travel experiences. The deal includes the popular Da Nang coastal city (DAD), as well as Buon Me Thuot (BMV), Dalat (DLI), Hai Phong (HPH), Nha Trang (CXR), Phu Quoc (PQC), Pleiku (PXU) , Vinh City (VII) and an international point, Taipei (TPE).
 
The new deal with Vietjet will offer passengers an even greater choice by providing them with an easy connection to Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi before moving on to their Qatar Airways flights. 

2. Air France and Vietnam Airlines sign a new Joint Venture
 
Air France and Vietnam Airlines have announced the signing of a strategic partnership that enables the two airlines to optimize their services between France, Europe and Vietnam and strengthen their position in a thriving competitive market. 
 
 
 
 
As of 1 November 2017, the launch time of this new joint venture, Air France and Vietnam Airlines will jointly develop additional benefits for their customers: better links thanks to adaptable flight schedules departing from the Paris’s hub- Charles de Gaulle, Hanoi- Noi Bai and Ho Chi Minh City- Tan Son Nhat, offering a wider choice of travelers; continuous improvement of the services offered to customers when traveling with Air France, Vietnam Airlines or through a combined path. 
 
Passengers on flights operated under this new joint venture will continue to benefit from the SkyTeam alliance services such as SkyPriority, lounge access and Flying Blue and LotuSmiles fidelity programs, to earn and use Miles on both airlines. 
 
This agreement strengthens a long-standing partnership between the two airlines. Thanks to the collaboration, Air France and Vietnam Airlines aim to strengthen their position in the Vietnamese market in a sustainable way.
