Let's take a look at some interesting travel news in Vietnam this February.
1. During Tet, Hue Citadel Conservation Center will organize numerous fun activities inside the Forbidden City
In particular, on the first day of Tet festival, a flag-rising ceremony will take place at the South Gate, with lion dance at the Supreme Harmony Palace, court games, calligaraphy show and live music concert.
Previously, Hue Citadel Conservation Center has repopulated by a ceremony for the tree cultivation festival on December 23, 2017 at the Royal Temple and Long An Palace.
This is a traditional and important ritual at the beginning of the lunar New Year since Nguyen Dynasty's era.
2. Vietnam Airlines launches a new route from Cam Ranh (Can Tho) to Incheol (Seoul) in March 2018.
The new international terminal in Cam Ranh International Airport, which is insvested VND 3,735 billion, have been set up since September 2016 and will inaugurate the first phase in the first quarter of 2018.

The new route will be operated from 25 March to 31 October 2018 with 4 flights a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
3. On 9 January, Vietnam Airlines started to use Airbus 350 on Germany - Vietnam flight route at Frankfurt International Airport

Since January 1st, 2012, Vietnam Airlines have increased the frequency from 9 to 10 flights a week and operated with Airbus A350 instead of Boeing 787 on the route between Germany and Vietnam. Vietnam Airlines is the only airline operating direct fligts between Germany and Vietnam at present.
The A350-900 aircraft is the most modern, safe and comfortable model in the world, helping Vietnam Airlines to better meet the needs of customers in this incredible journey of growth. The A350 aircrafts operated by Vietnam Airlines to Germany are available in 3 classes: Business Class, Special Economy Class and Economy Class.
4. Lamei Airlines - a Cambodian Airline has officially announced Phnom Penh - Hanoi and Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh City flight route from December 20th, 2017
The airline has announced that the flights route will be available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Inspired by low-cost airline model, Lamei Airlines aims to create an image of a friendly and dynamic airlines.

Lamei Airlines is a Cambodian airlines based in Phnom Penh, founded on 7 March 2016 and has the first commercial flight departure on 29 September 2017.
5. Pymy cave - the fourth largest in the world, has been authorized by Quang Binh Province for tourist activities.
Since January 1, 2018, Quang Binh province has allowed to organize tourist activities to Pygmy cave, which is located deeply in Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park in Bo Trach district.

The entrance to Pygmy cave is about 100m high and 845m long. During day time, the light can penetrate into the cave. The entrance is also the place where campers can sleep at night, during the 3-day and 2-night trip.
