Day 01 . Thu 22 December 2016 : Saigon arrival (D) | Guide and driver
Arrival at the Tan Son Nhat airport by Qatar Airways QR 970 around 13h25. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Diner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 . Fri 23 December 2016 : Saigon- Cu Chi- Saigon (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
Morning drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, situated 70km from Saigon. The Cu Chi Tunnel system was created around 1948 to assist the Viet Minh in their combat against French occupiers. Construction and enlargement continued during American bombings and they were turned into an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapon factories and field hospitals. The Cu Chi Tunnels could house up to 10,000 people who lived underground for years, getting married and raising children. During the Vietnam - American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated as a fire free zone yet was heavily bombarded. Since 1988, two sections of the tunnels are open for visitors. In the afternoon, you will visit the War Remnants Museum formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes. This is a poignant display of the futility of war. Then take a cyclo tour around the streets, stop at Binh Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda. We finish by a visiting of workshop of lacquer. Return to your hotel. Diner cruis on Saigon river. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 . Sat 24 December 2016 : Saigon - Ben Tre - Can Tho (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
Go to Ben Tre province. Enjoy the lively activities on the river like fishing and water transferring. You will stop at a brick-factory, to see how bricks are made by hand in a traditional way. Your next stop is one of numerous coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Take a bicycle-cart along a village path and stop at a farmer’s house for lunch. You then talk a walk to a mat-weaving village before embarking small rowing-boats to travel along palm tree lined waterways back to Hung Vuong pier. Direction forward to Can Tho city. Overnight at the hotel in Can Tho.
Day 04 . Sun 25 December 2016 : Can Tho – Tra Su forest - Chau Doc (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
We take an early morning boat trip through the winding waterways of Cai Rang floating market, the biggest and busiest floating market in the Mekong Delta. This is the best time to visit the market, as it is crowded with hundreds of sampans that offer fruit, vegetables, plants, food and other goods for trade. This is the perfect opportunity to take photos, communicate with locals and taste fresh tropical fruits. Leave the market; We will then drive to Chau Doc, atown on the border of Cambodia and Vietnam, where we will spend the night. On the way, we visit the Tra Su cajuput Forest. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 05 . Mon 26 December 2016 : Chau Doc – Phnompenh (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
IIn the morning we will take a speed boat to Phnom Penh and arrive in the capital city of Cambodia around noon. Time to rest and have lunch. The afternoon will be spent exploring Phnom Penh. We start our tour with a visit to the National Museum, then on to the Silver Pagoda situated inside the Royal Palace complex and lastly Wat Phnom Pagoda considered the spiritual heart of the city. Day 06 . Tue 27 December 2016 : Phnompenh - Siem Reap (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
After breakfast we will drive 168km to Kampong Thom, a picturesque town situated on the banks of the Tonle Sap Lake. En route, we will drop by Skun Market, a unique place selling spiders. Passing the beautiful landscape of the Cambodian countryside, we will reach Sambor Prei Kuk which once served as the capital of Chenla and was built in the early 7th century. We will continue our drive for 147 km to reach Siem Reap passing quaint villages and lush rice plains. We will stop at Kompong Kdei to visit an old bridge dating back more than 1000 yearsr and was built under the reign of king Chayravaman VII. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 07 . Wed 28 December 2016 : Siemreap - Angkor Thom - Angkor Wat - Siemreap (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
In the morning, We will visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom also referred to as "Great City", the famous Bayon Temple built in the late 12th century and the Baphoun Temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King and Phimean Akas known as "Heavenly Palace". In the afternoon, we will tour the World Heritage site "Angkor Wat", the world's largest religious building. Apsara Diner. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap
Day 08 . Thu 29 December 2016 : Siemreap - Small Circuit - Banteay Srei - Siemreap (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
Morning visit to the “Small Circuit” group of temples including: Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees. This is one of Jayavarman VII's first major temple projects dedicated to his mother, Thommanon built at the same time with Angkor Wat and Chau Say Tevoda temple, Banteay Kdei – surrounded by four concentric walls, Srah Srang – “The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing and Ta Keo known as “ The mountain with golden peaks” dedicated to Hindu God Shiva. The afternoon We will continue our discovery of Angkor with a visit to Banteay Srei built when the Khmer Empire was gaining significant power. It is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. It’s a masterpiece of Khmer Art with intricate sandstone construction and ornate design. We will then head back to visit Banteay Samre Temple built in the Angkor Wat style. On the way to Siem Reap, Stop at Pradak village to see the simple natural way of local people are producing palm sugar from palm juice. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 09 . Fri 30 December 2016 : Siem Reap - Kompong Pluk - Hanoi (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
This day, We visit Kompong Phluk flottant village which is a set of villages based on the floodplain of the Tonle Sap Lake, near Siem Reap. There are about 3,000 villagers, most of who live in stilted houses. The people depend largely on fishing and tourism for their incomes. In the afternoon, transfer to the Siem Reap airport for the flight K6 850 (17H50 – 19H35) to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi, pick-up by guide and driver then transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10 . Sat 31 December 2016 : Hanoi city tour (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
A full day spent touring Hanoi, the political, economic and cultural capital of Vietnam. Starting with Outside of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and One pillar Pagoda. Then we continue with the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), which offers informative and well-documented information on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, including elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes. The display continues in the outside garden with fascinating examples of traditional houses from the Kinh’s to the ethnic groups of the Central Highlands. We will then visit the Temple of Literature, a temple built in honor of Confucius in 1070, and served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam founded in 1076. This temple and its beautiful garden provide an opportunity to learn more about the Mandarin education that has shaped Vietnam for 1000 years and to relax in this tranquil setting. The afternoon we will walk around the alleys of Hanoi’s Old Quater, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple or Jade Mountain Temple situated in the heart of Hanoi. A delightful water puppet show will perfectly wrap up our day. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 . Sun 01 January 2017 : Hanoi- Tam Coc (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
Pick-up at your hotel and travel to Hoa Lu – the former capital of Vietnam, about a two-hour drive from Hanoi. On arrival, you will visit two temples, one of them dedicated to Emperor Dinh and the other in memory of Emperor Le, followed by a brief visit to the remains of the Old Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant you will visit Tam Coc (three caves), a peaceful valley among limestone ‘karst' hills, There, you will be rowed along a gentle river between paddy fields and through the caves. Feel ready to star our cycling to Bich Dong pagoda (3km), passing scenery of paddy fields or small stream. Overnight in Tam Coc.
Day 12 . Mon 02 January 2017 : Tam Coc - Halong (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
After breakfast, we depart to Halong Bay, passing beautiful scenery along the way full of lush rice paddies and winding rivers, typical of the Red River Delta. We will arrive at Halong’s tourist wharf around noon and embark a classic wooden junk. Lunch will be served as the boat gently cruises past numerous islands and limestone structures rising from the emerald waters of the bay. It is also an ideal opportunity to enjoy the sea breeze and refresh your soul. An experienced chef will prepare a fresh seafood dinner. Overnight on board in your private cabin
Day 13 . Tue 03 January 2017 : Halong – Hanoi (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
Enjoy breakfast and savor the incredible sunrise from the sundeck while the boat sails to Luon Cave and one of Halong’s floating villages then back to the harbor. Return to Hanoi city. Overnight at hotel
Day 14 . Wed 04 January 2017 : Hanoi - Hue visit (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
You are taken to the airport for the flight VN 1543 (08H50 – 10H00) to Hue. Depart to visit Hue Imperial City to visit the massive vestige of Vietnam's last royal town, including: Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace & Forbidden Purple City or “Tu Cam Thanh”. Then we continue to visit Tu Duc Royal Tomb, one of the most beautiful examples of royal architecture during the Nguyen dynasty. In the late afternoon, we take a short walk by cyclo to Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue
Day 15 . Thu 05 January 2017 : Hue- Thuy Bieu village - Hoian (B, L, D) | Guide and driver
Cruise along Perfume River, en route visit the Thien Mu Pagoda also known as “Heavenly Lady Pagoda”, and then drop by Thuy Bieu eco- village, an ancient village situated on the bank of the Perfume River. After that, we will spend time cycling through the village’s tranquil setting, passing several communal houses, ancient temples and most importantly the garden house, a unique feature of Hue countryside. Cooking class and lunch at the village. After a halfday of walking and cycling, relax with a medical herb water treatment for your feet and an excellent blind massage. In the afternoon, drive along the Mandarin road. A scenic journey from Hue to Hoi An, which showcases a picturesque Vietnam with stunning beaches and lush tropical forest.
