Day 01:    24-sept    Hanoi – arrival
Upon arrival in Hanoi at 21:30 KE 679 Korean air lines – Seoul-Hanoi , you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Hanoi is one of Asia's most charming cities, with its romantic tree-lined boulevards and colonial houses.

Day 02:    25-sept    Hanoi visit - night train to Lao Cai– B, L
Before visiting Hanoi: the guide will lead you to go to the Office of Asiatica and pay the balance. I’m very happy to meet you.
A full day spent touring Hanoi, the political, economic and cultural capital of Vietnam. Starting with the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), which offers informative and well-documented information on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, including elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes. The display continues in the outside garden with fascinating examples of traditional houses from the Kinh’s to the ethnic groups of the Central Highlands. You will then visit the Temple of Literature, a temple built in honor of Confucius in 1070, and served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam founded in 1076. This temple and its beautiful garden provide an opportunity to learn more about the  Mandarin education that has shaped Vietnam for 1000 years and to relax in this tranquil setting. The afternoon is spent exploring the alleys of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, visit HoanKiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple or the Jade Mountain Temple situated in the heart of Hanoi. A delightful water puppet show will perfectly wrap up your day. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03:    26-sept    Lao Cai - Sapa– B, L
You will arrive in Lao Cai around 6:00am andcontinue to Sapa, situated 40km from Lao Cai,by private car. After breakfast we will explore Sapa town, founded by the French as a holiday resort.  You then have time to leisurely stroll around Sapa, and visitSapa’s market and its old cathedral. You are bound to encounter people of various ethnic minority groups such as the Black H’mong, Day’z and Red Zao wearing their traditional colorful dresses.
In the afternoon, you will visit Cat Cat village, home to H’Mong ethnic people. They are excellent “tho cam” weavers, a kind of brocade fabric. Cat Cat silver jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings are known fortheir sophisticated production techniques. A walk through this old village offers a glimpse into traditional customs and practices of the ethnic Black Hmong. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 04:    27-sept    Sapa - Lao Cai – Hanoi – B, L

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before commencing your full day tour of Sapa, starting with its vibrant market and colonial houses. Descending into the Muong Hoa Valley, you will reach the picturesque Lao Chai village home to the Black H'mong ethnic minority and Ta Van village inhabited by Dzay. Enjoy stunning views of rice terraces curving around the hillside, winding rivers and streams glistening in the sunshine. Enjoy a picnic for lunch.
On the way back to Sapa, you will visit Ma Tra village, home to Black Hmong ethnic people. You then return to Lao Cai train station by car to catch the night train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train. (Each cabin has 4 beds. I arrange 2 cabins for your family).

Day 05:    28-sept    Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park– B, L, D
After breakfast and shower at hotel near the train station Cosiana , we will drive 130km by car to Cuc Phuong National Park. Upon arrival, check into the hotel at the Reserve and have lunch.  In the afternoon, you will visit  the Centre of Endangered  Rescue, home to 15 different species of endangered primates most of which get confiscated from illegal animal trade. Continue to our hike for 6km through the dense jungle forest to explore a plethora of tree and animal species and visit a 1000-year-old tree.  Overnight at guesthouse in the park.

Day 06:    29-sept    Cuc Phuong - Tam Coc (B,L)
Breakfast at the guesthouse, before a very exciting two-hour bicycle tour to Tam Coc past rice paddies and life at the local villages. Upon arrival check-in at hotel in Tam Coc literally translating to “three caves” adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of all shapes. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon embark a small rowing boat to discover the outstanding karst waterscape on Ngo Dong River. From the boat, you will enjoy prime views of rice paddies dotted with limestone peaks along the river banks.  After that it is on to visit the ancient Dinh & Le king temples. Beautiful hibiscus gardens, lotus ponds and frangipani dispersing their delicate scent surround these temples. Overnight at hotel in Tam Coc.
Day 07:    30-sept    Ninh Binh - Halong – B, L , D

After breakfast, you depart to Halong Bay, passing beautiful scenery along  the way full of lush rice paddies and winding rivers, typical of the Red River Delta. You will arrive at Halong’s tourist wharf around noon and embark a classic wooden junk. Lunch will be served as the boat gently cruises past numerous islands and limestone structures rising from the emerald waters of the bay. It is also an ideal opportunity to enjoy the sea breeze and refresh your soul. An experienced chef will prepare a fresh seafood dinner. Overnight on board in your private cabin.

Day 08:    01-oct        Halong - Hanoi - Hue– B, L
Enjoy breakfast and savor the incredible sunrise from the sundeck while the boat continues its itinerary.  You will return to Hanoi by car where you will be brought to the airport to for the flight to Hue. On the way, you’ll have the lunch at the Yen Duc village. Flight to Hue VN 1545 19:15 - 20:25.
Arrival. Pick-up by the guide and the driver and transfer to hotel.

Day 09:    02-oct        Hue– B, L

Start your day with a leisurely boat trip on the poetic Perfume River. Stop en route to visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda also known as “Heavenly Lady Pagoda”, the symbol of Hue, and the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, which was built between 1864 and 1867 by 3000 soldiers and workers. It includes 50 monuments surrounded by a 1500m long wall and covers an area of 12 hectare.
We will then continue the cruise toward Thuy Bieu eco-village, an ancient village situated on the bank of the Perfume River. The afternoon is reserved for cycling through the peaceful village, visiting several communal houses, ancient temples and the highlight: the garden- house, a typical and unique feature of Hue. Soaking your feet in medicinal herb water followed by an excellent blind massage will refresh them after a day of sightseeing. In the evening you will take part in a cooking class. You will have a chance to prepare a typical Vietnamese meal for dinner with the instructions from our chef.

Day 10:    03-oct        Hue - Danang - Hoi An– B, L

Morning drive on the Mandarin road, a scenic journey from Hue to Hoi An, which allows you to see a picturesque Vietnam with stunning beaches and lush tropical forest. Take some photos en route before visiting the Museum of Cham Sculptures, with many precious antique artifacts of the former Cham Kingdom on display. We then continue our drive to Hoi An’s ancient town, once an important international trading port and now a charming riverside town. Hoi An features a fantastic combination of Chinese, Dutch, Japanese and Portuguese culture. Explores each, when visiting the Japanese Pagoda Bridge, Chinese streets, old Phung Hung houses, Hoi An’s market and ancient port. On the 1st and 15th of every lunar month, Hoi An’s ancient town is lit up by hundreds of colorful lanterns, giving it an extra portion of sparkle. Enjoy the city’s transformation and stroll through this quaint, glowing fairytale town in your free time. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11:        04-oct    Hoi An
Guide pick guests up at hotel, take bicycles along De Vong River to Cam An wharlf.
Embark on the boat to Cua Dai sand dune, enjoy casting net show and learn how to cast net by local fisher man.
Continue to Cam Thanh Water coconut village, have a brief introduce to the history there.
Take on the basket boat along the water coconut river, Fisherman will teach you how to catch the crabs (02 paxs/ boat).
Divide group into 2 teams for basket boat racing and catching crabs. There will be a lovely present for winner.
Embark on the boat, enjoy the folk songs show by local people and learn how to make funny tools by water coconut leaf. Then get on board to Cam An wharf, continue to take a bicycle to Tra Que village and join in the daily activities with local farmer there.
Enjoy special local food such as pancake, Tam Huu spring roll, fried fish … at Tra Que herb village.
Bidding farewell, take a bicycle back to Hotel.
About 15.00 Ends of tour. Freetime to your shopping or free activities.

Day 12:    05-oct        Hoi An – Danang - Saigon – B
Morning transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City formerly known as Saigon. Flight VN 107 09:05 -10:20. Exploring this vibrant city situated on the banks of Saigon River, famous for its wide boulevards and historic French colonial buildings. Visit all must-see attractions, including: Ton Duc Thang and Nguyen Hue Avenue, Reunification Palace (President Palace), the Notre Dame Cathedral built in 1877 and the Central Post Office. The tour ends with a bit of shopping at Ben Thanh Market, the busiest business centre in Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at hotel in Saigon.

Day 13:    06-oct    Saigon - Ben Tre - Can Tho – B, L
Leaving the bustling city of Saigon behind, you will depart to the Mekong Delta considered Vietnam’s biggest rice basket. You will arrive at Hung Vuong Pier in Ben Tre and embark our boat to cruise along Ben Tre River, a tributary of the great Mekong, to explore the local lifestyle and the daily hustle and bustle. You will stop at the brickfield belonging to Mr. Tu Lo to see how bricks are made by hand in Vietnam and a coconut candy home factory located along the canal to witness the process of making this local candy and other souvenirs. You will then have the opportunity to taste bee honey tea at a local honey farm and a variety of tropical fruit that grow amply in the orchards of the Mekong Delta. You can then walk or cycle through the coconut groves and green rice paddies to soak up the atmosphere and relax in the tranquil countryside.
The afternoon begins with a trip on small rowing boats through a maze of waterways shaded by two rows of palm trees. You then cruise back to the pier and disembark. Transfer to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.


Day 14:    07-oct        Can Tho - Saigon– B, L
Take an early morning boat trip through the winding waterways of Cai Rang floating market, the biggest and busiest floating market in the Mekong Delta. This is the best time to visit the market, as it is crowded with hundreds of sampans that offer fruit, vegetables, plants, food and other goods for trade. This is the perfect opportunity to take photos, communicate with locals and taste fresh tropical fruit. Leave the market, and return to Saigon. On the way back, we will stop at an old BinhThuy house 5kms from Can Tho city and Long Dinh mat weaving village where you witness the making of a mat, a very popular item closely associated with Vietnamese culture.  Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15:   08-oct    Saigon – Mui Ne -B
8h00, transfert to Mui Ne. Free time to relax on the beach without guide and driver. Overnight at hotel.

Day 16:    09-oct    Mui Ne -B

Day 17:   10-oct     Mui Ne – Saigon – departure -B
14h00, pick up at your hotel. Transfert to Tan Son Nhat airport at Saigon for your return flight (without guide) The hotel room is available until noon only. Asiatica Travel’s services end here. Flight 22:50 KE680
